Evaluation questions
Before logging an update as workflow-relevant, answer these:
- Does this reduce repeated work?
- Does it improve output quality or only novelty?
- Can the result be verified?
- Does it introduce privacy, cost, or dependency risk?
- What small workflow should test it first?
Do not adopt an update only because it is new. Adopt it when it improves a repeated workflow and you can verify the result.
Suggested categories
Use these to tag entries so patterns are easier to find later:
- Agent orchestration
- Coding and review
- Research and summarization
- Notes and knowledge management
- Automation and reminders
- Design and content generation
Retirement criteria
Remove or archive an entry when:
- The feature has been tested and found not useful for your workflows
- A newer update supersedes the finding
- The tool or provider is no longer in use
Keep the log lean. Entries that haven’t been tested within 30 days should be promoted to “tested and skipped” or removed entirely.
